Joint Strategic Survey Committee

The Joint Strategic Survey Committee (JSSC) was an extraordinary committee of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during World War II that existed from 1942 until 1947. It was "one of the most influential planning agencies in the wartime armed forces."[1]
